Fete De Marquette Poster

I have a deep appreciation for older styles of art and design, victorian style hand lettering is near the top of my list of favorites. In the days when any kind of advertisements were done in this fashion there was such care and craftsmanship that went into these beautiful pieces of design. As a student of art and design I wanted to see what it took to produce something in this style. Granted this was done in a digital space, I feel I got a glimpse of what some of those turn of the century artists went through trying to nail down all the details in such uniform fashion.
